DIY Projects - Wrap Bracelet

Good afternoon and a very happy Tuesday to ya!  I decided to share a little DIY project on this lovely summer afternoon.  I found this neat idea on a blog that I currently cannot get enough of called Henry Happened.  I originally set out to make a wrap bracelet but it turns out that you can also wear it as a headband or a necklace.  Here's the step by step...

What you will need:

**Side Note - the length of the piece of fabric depends on how many times you want to be able to wrap the bracelet.  The longer the piece, the more times you can wrap it!  If you are going to wear it as a headband, measure your head and make the piece of fabric that length plus an inch or so.  The number of hex nuts that you will need is dependent on the length of the piece of fabric you use and how far apart you want them to be spaced out**

Measure out your piece of fabric and cut it to the appropriate measurements.
Do not worry about the fraying - it actually makes this bracelet look even better!!

Step One: Tie a knot at one end of the fabric
Step Two: Twist the fabric until the entire piece is twisted as tight as you can get it (this makes it easier to slide the hex nuts onto the fabric)
Step Three: Slide the hex nuts onto the fabric and space them out however you like (I spaced mine out about an inch apart)
Step Four:  Release the un-knotted side of the fabric so that the twist comes undone
Step Five: Tie the two ends together into a knot and ladies and gentleman you have a wrap bracelet!

I love the way this looks as a bracelet but I have to say that it makes a super cute headband or necklace as well!  If you decide to make one of these and have any suggestions or questions about the process, please let me know via the comments section of this post!

Have a great day & Happy crafting!!

Lots of Love,
Meg
