Chocolate Peanut Butter Sandwiches

While relaxing on this lazy Sunday evening, I realized that I was craving something that involved chocolate and peanut butter (the best combo ever).  While searching the internet for a yummy idea, I found this amazing recipe on a blog called Chocolate, Chocolate and more chocolate.  The minute I read through the list of ingredients and realized that I had them all in the kitchen, I knew I had to try these bad boys out!  Apparently, these are a treat sold at Disney World.  I don't recall ever trying them but from what I understand, they are a big deal at Disney & now they can be a big deal in the comfort of your own home!!  Here's the scoop...

You will need:
*This will make 4 sandwiches

Step One:  Melt down the chocolate chips
Step Two:  Break the graham crackers apart so that you have 4 squares total
Step Three:  Line a plate or a pan with wax paper
Step Four:  Dip each graham cracker into the melted chocolate.  Be sure to cover the front, back and sides!
Step Five:  Place the chocolate covered graham onto the wax paper & repeat step four until they are all covered in chocolate
Step Six: Put them in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to let the chocolate harden

Step Seven:  While you are waiting for the chocolate to harden, mix together the peanut butter & powdered sugar
Step Eight:  Once the 15-20 minutes have passed, remove the graham crackers from the refrigerator

Step Nine:  Place a dollop of the peanut butter mixture onto the graham cracker and spread it out evenly
Step Ten:  Place more melted chocolate on top, covering up the peanut butter filling
Step Eleven:  Take a plastic sandwich bag, scoop the remaining melted chocolate into it & cut the tip off of one of the ends of the bag
Step Twelve:  Using your fancy DIY icing bag, drizzle the chocolate on top of the graham crackers in a "zig-zag" pattern (this just makes them look fancy!)
Step Thirteen:  Place them back into the refrigerator for another 15-20 minutes

Remove them from the refrigerator once the 15-20 minutes have passed and enjoy this delicious treat!!

Lots of Love,
Meg
