Frugal Friday - DIY Simple Face Mask

Happy Friday everyone!!  For this week's Frugal Friday post, I tried out a really easy face mask.  I think it's important to pamper yourself from time to time!  Usually, I will buy a face mask at the store but I stumbled upon this homemade face mask on Pinterest and thought I would give it a try.  One of the best things about this mask is that the items you need are more than likely in your home right now!

You will need:
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
  • 3 tablets of uncoated aspirin
  • A small amount of water
  • A bowl to mix everything up in

Place the aspirin into the bowl and put a few drops of water on top of them.  You just need enough to cover the aspirin so that it dissolves.  This should only take a minute!  Once the aspirin has almost fully dissolved, use a spoon to crush it into the water.

Mix in one tablespoon of honey

Apply all over face and leave on for approximately 15 minutes.  While the aspirin exfoliates your skin, the honey moisturizes so let it sit for the full 15 minutes!  After the time is up, rinse the mask off and enjoy your lovely soft skin!

This DIY Simple Face Mask is hands down a Frugal Friday Success!!

Lots of Love,
Meg
